Under both gaming profiles, the points come out level: the SUPERSTRIKE's extra half point on responsiveness and software is exactly cancelled by the Viper's 1.5-point lead on India value.

Which has the better sensor?
Tie, 10/10 each. Both use their maker's current flagship sensor. Logitech's HERO 2 has higher published maximums (44,000 DPI, over 888 IPS, 88 G) than Razer's Focus Pro 35K (35,000 DPI, 750 IPS, 70 G), but both are far beyond what any player's hand can reach. We do not reward headline numbers past that point.
Which is more responsive?
PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE, 10 against 9.5. Both offer 8,000 Hz wireless polling. The SUPERSTRIKE gets the extra half point for its Haptic Inductive Trigger System: Logitech says it offers 10 actuation points and 5 rapid-trigger reset points. Logitech also claims lower click latency; we have not measured it.
Which is better built?
Tie, 9/10 each. The Viper uses Razer's Gen-3 optical switches, rated 90 million clicks. The SUPERSTRIKE has no mechanical microswitch at all, which removes the part that usually wears out first, but Logitech does not publish a rated click life.
Which is more comfortable?
Tie, 9.5/10 each. Both are light, symmetrical shells with side buttons on the left for right-handed use. The Viper is 7 g lighter at 54 g against 61 g. Both fall in our top comfort band for gaming mice.
Which has better connectivity and battery?
Tie, 7.5/10 each. Both are 2.4 GHz wireless plus USB-C, with no Bluetooth. Razer quotes up to 95 hours and Logitech up to 90 hours; neither says at which polling rate.
Which has better software?
PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE, 8 against 7.5. G HUB lets you set the actuation point, rapid-trigger reset and six haptic levels, and saves them to the mouse. Razer Synapse is Windows-only and the Viper keeps one onboard profile.
Which is better value in India?
Viper V3 Pro, 8 against 6.5. It costs ₹3,496 less on Amazon.in, includes the 8,000 Hz dongle in the box, and Razer lists a 2-year warranty for mice. Many Indian retailer listings show 1 year for Razer, so check your invoice. Logitech says the warranty term is printed on the box.
Which should you buy?
You are… | Better choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
A competitive FPS player on a budget | Viper V3 Pro | Same S-tier Gaming score, ₹3,496 less |
A player who wants to tune click feel | PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE | Adjustable actuation, rapid trigger and haptics |
Someone who wants the lightest mouse | Viper V3 Pro | 54 g against 61 g |
Already invested in Logitech G HUB | PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE | One app for all your Logitech gear |
Also using the mouse for office work | Neither | No Bluetooth or thumb wheel; see the best wireless mouse guide |

Checklist
Decide whether adjustable click actuation matters to you.
Check that the Viper listing includes the HyperPolling dongle.
Check whether a newer PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE is listed in India before buying the X2.
Confirm your PC has a free USB port near the mouse for the 8,000 Hz receiver.
Check the warranty period on the invoice or box.
Compare Amazon.in and Flipkart prices on the day.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Mistake 1: Paying for headline sensor numbers
44,000 DPI against 35,000 DPI makes no practical difference. Both sensors are rated 10/10 by us.
Mistake 2: Expecting 8,000 Hz on the Viper's cable
Razer says 8,000 Hz is not supported in wired mode. Use the included dongle.
Mistake 3: Ignoring battery at 8,000 Hz
Neither maker says which polling rate its battery figure uses. Expect to charge more often at higher polling rates.
Mistake 4: Buying either for office work
Neither has Bluetooth or a thumb wheel. Both are built for games.
