Gaming weights Connectivity at only 5, so the Razer edges ahead there; the Mechanical and General profiles weight typing, build and value more, so the K2 HE wins both.
Which Types Better?
Tie, 9/10 each. Both have premium switches you can tune. The K2 HE's magnetic switches can be swapped for other Gateron double-rail magnetic switches; the Huntsman's cannot be swapped.
Which Is Better for Gaming?
Huntsman, 10 against 9.5. Both have adjustable actuation and rapid trigger. The Razer adds 8,000 Hz polling against the K2 HE's 1,000 Hz, and a slightly wider range (0.1–4.0 mm against 0.2–3.8 mm). Razer says to confirm 8,000 Hz is switched on in Synapse.
Which Is Better Built?
Huntsman, 9 against 8.5. Both use aluminium. The Razer has textured doubleshot PBT keycaps and a published 100-million-keystroke rating; we could not confirm the K2 HE's keycap material.
Which Has the Better Layout?
Huntsman, 8 against 7.5, because its magnetic wrist rest is in the box. The K2 HE's 75% layout is smaller and keeps the arrows and F-row, which suits a crowded desk.
Which Has Better Connectivity?
K2 HE, 9 against 4. It works by cable, 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth with three devices, and Keychron rates it at up to 110 hours with the backlight off. The Huntsman is wired only.
Which Has Better Software?
Huntsman, 9 against 8.5. Razer Synapse 4 adds Snap Tap and six onboard profiles. Keychron Launcher runs in a web browser, so there is nothing to install.
Which Is Better Value in India?
K2 HE, 6.5 against 6, despite costing ₹191 more. Neither board was on Flipkart in our check. Razer's own policy offers up to 2 years against Keychron India's 12 months, which narrows the gap.
