Infinia can earn up to 15,000 SmartBuy benefit points a month. Diners Black is capped at 7,500 a month and just 2,500 a day. Regalia, Diners Privilege and BizPower are capped at 4,000 a month and 2,000 a day. Other cards get up to 1,000 cashback a month.
The simple rule:
Use SmartBuy for hotel and flight bookings you were going to make anyway, and plan around your card's cap. Once you hit the cap, book directly or use another card.

What Is the HDFC SmartBuy News for November 2026?
SmartBuy is HDFC Bank's rewards and offers portal. You book flights, hotels, trains, buses, gift vouchers and partner brands through it and pay with your HDFC Bank card.
HDFC Bank's SmartBuy site (offers.smartbuy.hdfc.bank.in) currently publishes an "Accelerated earn rules" page. It says the accelerated benefit applies to all HDFC credit cards, debit cards and the PayZapp wallet, and isvalid till 31 March 2027.
So the November 2026 picture is simple:
the reward multipliers are live through November and beyond
the monthly and daily caps reset on the calendar month
benefits also apply on credit card EMI transactions, based on card type
bonus points or cashback reach your card account within 90 working days from the end of the transaction month
SmartBuy also runs rotating "Weekly Deals", which combine an instant discount with your card's core benefits. These change often, so check the portal on the day you book.
Why This News Matters
Most HDFC premium cards earn a modest base rate on everyday spends. SmartBuy is where that rate jumps.
HDFC Bank's Infinia page lists a base rate of 5 Reward Points per ₹150 spent. With Infinia points worth ₹1 each on SmartBuy flights and hotels, that is about 3.3% back.
On SmartBuy, the same card shows:

Two details worth noting:
Diners Black-family cards get only 3X on instant vouchers and Apple purchases, against 5X for Infinia and Regalia-family cards.
The 5X or 5% Myntra benefit does not apply to the entire order if it includes any gold or silver product.
What about Regalia Gold?
Regalia Gold has its own SmartBuy page. It shows the same multipliers: 10X on hotels, 5X on flights and buses, and 3X on trains. Its displayed savings are lower because its points are worth less: 6.25% on flights and buses, 9.6% on hotels and 3.75% on trains.
The accelerated earn table names "Regalia" but does not list Regalia Gold separately. Confirm Regalia Gold's monthly cap with HDFC Bank before planning a large booking.
What about Tata Neu cards?

SmartBuy publishes the maximum benefit each card can earn in a calendar month and in a day.

The daily cap matters for Diners Black and Regalia-family cards. A single large hotel booking on one day can hit the daily cap even though you have room left in the monthly cap.

Example 1: Infinia, hotel and flight in the same month
Meera has an Infinia card. In November she books a ₹30,000 hotel and a ₹20,000 flight on SmartBuy.

This assumes "10X" means ten times the base rate of 5 points per ₹150. The total stays within Infinia's 15,000 monthly cap. If the cap applies to the total points rather than just the bonus, roughly ₹45,000 of hotel bookings at 10X would already reach 15,000 points. Beyond the cap, extra SmartBuy spending earns no additional benefit that month.
Example 2: Diners Black, one big hotel booking
Rahul has a Diners Black card (not the Metal edition). He books a long hotel stay on one day.
His daily SmartBuy cap is 2,500 points.
His monthly cap is 7,500 points.
If the booking would earn more than 2,500 points, the excess is lost. Splitting separate bookings across different days, where that is genuinely practical, lets him use more of the monthly cap.
Example 3: A card in the "Other credit card" group
Neha has an HDFC card that falls under "Other credit card". She books a ₹15,000 flight on SmartBuy.
5% cashback on flights = ₹750.
Her monthly cap is 1,000 cashback, so ₹750 fits.
