Axis Bank EDGE Rewards and EDGE Miles: Accor Returns as Transfer Partner, Club ITC Removed
Summary

Axis Bank's transfer list now includes Accor's ALL programme again, while Club ITC is gone. We break down the ratios by card, the Group A cap and who actually gains.

Quick Verdict

Axis Bank has updated the partner list for its EDGE REWARD Points and EDGE Miles transfer programme.

Accor's ALL loyalty programme ("ALL - The limitless hotel loyalty programme") is back as a transfer partner, and Club ITC is no longer listed.

Accor was an Axis partner before. Axis Bank's older Atlas terms list "Accor Hotels (Accor Live Limitless)" as a transfer partner. It had dropped off the list, and has now returned.

But the return comes with two catches.

Accor sits in Group A, which has the smaller annual transfer cap. And on Magnus, Reserve, Olympus and Horizon, the Accor ratio is half the typical airline ratio. On Atlas, it is a quarter.

The simple rule:

Accor is a useful hotel option again, mainly for Burgundy Private, Olympus and Atlas holders. If you were saving points for Club ITC, that route is closed. Plan around your Group A cap.

Before you transfer, check:

  • your card's ratio for ALL

  • your Group A cap for the calendar year

  • how much of that cap you have already used on airline partners

  • the ₹199 transfer fee per instance

  • that your ALL membership ID is linked and matches your card name

What Is the Axis EDGE Transfer Partner News?

Axis Bank's points and miles transfer terms sit on its Travel EDGE portal. They set out which partners you can move points to, at what ratio, and with what yearly cap.

The updated terms show these hotel changes:

Earlier in 2026

Now

ALL - Accor Live Limitless

Not listed

Listed, Group A

Club ITC

Listed, Group B

Removed

The new list was not on Axis Bank's terms page in early August 2026. It was live by early October 2026.

Axis Bank has not published a separate dated notice for the change. The terms page itself says the partner list and grouping can change at the bank's discretion without notice.

Why This News Matters

Hotel transfer partners are rare on Indian bank programmes. Losing one and gaining another changes how you should plan your points.

  • Accorhas a large hotel footprint in India and abroad, and a simple redemption model. Accor's official site shows 2,000 Reward points taken off a bill as €40, so each point is worth about €0.02.

  • Club ITCwas the main Indian hotel chain on the list. That option is gone for Axis cardholders.

Transfers are final. Axis Bank's terms say transferred points cannot be reversed or refunded. So a change in partners only matters before you move points.

Accor Transfer Ratios by Card

Axis Bank lists these ratios for ALL. The first number is your Axis points or miles; the second is ALL Reward points.

Accor shares its ratio tier with partners like British Airways Club, Cathay, Finnair Plus, IndiGo BluChip, Qatar's Privilege Club and Lotusmiles. On Magnus, Reserve, Olympus, Atlas and Horizon, that tier gives you fewer partner points than most airline partners.

What 10,000 Points or Miles Get You

Here is a simple worked example. We use Accor's official value of €40 for 2,000 points, and an illustrative rate of ₹100 per euro.

Card

You Transfer

Approx. ₹ (at ₹100/€)

Atlas / Horizon / IOCL Premium

10,000 EDGE Miles

€100

₹10,000

Now compare that with the simple alternative.

Axis Bank says each Atlas EDGE Mile is worth ₹1 on Travel EDGE. So 10,000 Atlas miles get about ₹10,000 of bookings either way. For Atlas, Accor adds flexibility, not extra value.

For Olympus, the Accor route is far stronger on paper. For Select, Privilege and Rewards, ₹2,000 for 10,000 points is roughly in line with the catalogue value of about ₹0.20 a point.

Real value depends on the hotel, dates and exchange rate on the day you redeem. ReadHow to Calculate the Real Value of 1 Reward Pointbefore you move points.

The Group A Cap Is the Real Limit

Axis Bank splits transfer partners into Group A and Group B. Each card has a yearly cap per customer ID, reset every 1 January.

Accor is inGroup A, which has the smaller cap. Club ITC was in Group B.

Group A is shared. Accor competes with Aeroplan, Flying Blue, Air India Maharaja Club, British Airways Club, Cathay, Etihad Guest, Qantas, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Turkish Airlines, United and others for the same cap.

Example: an Atlas holder can move only 30,000 EDGE Miles a year to all Group A partners combined. Sent fully to Accor at 2:1, that is 15,000 ALL points, or about €300.

Other Changes on the Same List

Comparing Axis Bank's terms page from early August 2026 with the current version also shows:

  • Hilton Honors, Miles & More and Cathay are now listed as partners.

  • Flying Blue, Air India (Maharaja Club) and Qantas Frequent Flyer now sit in Group A. They were in Group B in August, so they now share the smaller cap.

  • Marriott Bonvoy does not appear on either the August or the current list.

Miles & More also carries its own limit of 2,00,000 miles a year. SeeMiles & More Axis Bank Credit Cards Welcome Miles Offer.

How to Transfer to Accor

  1. Create an ALL account on Accor's website if you do not have one.

  2. Log in to the Axis Mobile app (EDGE REWARD section) or the Travel EDGE portal.

  3. Open the Points/Miles Transfer tab and select ALL.

  4. Link your ALL membership ID. Wait 5 working days before your first transfer.

  5. Enter the amount and confirm with OTP.

Key rules from Axis Bank's terms:

  • minimum transfer: 500 EDGE Miles or 300 EDGE REWARD Points

  • Accor transfers reflect in up to 1 working day

  • you can link only one ALL ID; changing it means a 60-day wait

  • if your ALL tier upgrades and your membership ID changes, email proof to [email protected]

  • the name on your card must match your ALL account

  • a fee of ₹199 plus taxes applies per transfer (as listed on Axis card pages such as Atlas)

  • all transfers are final

Who Benefits Most?

  • Burgundy Private holders, who keep a 5:4 ratio and a 3 lakh Group A cap

  • Olympus holders, at 1:2

  • travellers who already stay at Accor brands

  • Atlas and Horizon holders who want a hotel option on top of airlines

The strongest profile:

A high-tier Axis cardholder with a planned Accor stay who has Group A cap left for the year.

Who Will Get Little Value?

  • Club ITC loyalists

  • Select, Privilege and Rewards holders, where 10:1 gives little upside over the catalogue

  • Atlas holders who already use their 30,000 Group A cap on airlines

  • anyone who prefers simple cash-like redemptions

EDGE Transfer Checklist

  • What is your card's ALL ratio?

  • How much Group A cap is left this calendar year?

  • Would an airline partner in Group A give better value?

  • Is your ALL ID linked, and has the 5-working-day wait passed?

  • Does the name on your ALL account match your card?

  • Have you checked live hotel prices and point costs on Accor's site?

  • Have you counted the ₹199 plus taxes transfer fee?

  • Are you ready, given transfers cannot be reversed?

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Mistake 1: Assuming Accor matches airline ratios

On many cards it does not. Check the ALL column, not the airline one.

Mistake 2: Ignoring the shared Group A cap

Accor shares its cap with most major airlines. Use it where it gives the most value.

Mistake 3: Transferring without a booking in mind

Transfers are final. Points parked in a partner programme follow that programme's rules.

Mistake 4: Waiting for Club ITC to return

Axis Bank has not said it will. Plan with the current list.

Mistake 5: Forgetting the ID change after an ALL tier upgrade

A new ALL membership ID needs to be re-linked through Travel EDGE support.

Benchmarksutra Verdict

Getting Accor back is good news, but it is not a big boost for most cards.

It works if:

  • you hold Burgundy Private or Olympus

  • you have Group A cap to spare

  • you have an Accor stay planned

It is weak if:

  • your card has a poor ALL ratio

  • you need your Group A cap for airlines

  • you relied on Club ITC

Final rule:

A transfer partner is worth what your ratio and your cap allow. Check both before you move a single point.
